An ignorant bishop goes to Cuba to parrot Castro's propaganda.
Frank Griswold, the presiding bishop and primate of the US Episcopal Church is visiting Cuba this week and repeating Castro's propaganda word by word. Griswold said he was 'saddened' to see the "suffering caused by the policies of my country's government."
Not a single word about the Dictator who has been in power for 47 years without ever been elected. Not a word of condemnation about the tens of thousands of Cubans who have been murdered by this madman. Not a word about those who spent 30 years in jail for defending their religion. Not one single word about those who died in front of a firing squad yelling to their murderers: "Long live Christ the King." No sir, this so-called "American religious leader" went to Cuba to become another one of Castro's parrots.
He even referred to the US embargo as a 'blockade' using the same exact words used by Castro and his thugs.” The Episcopal Church in the United States strongly opposes the blockade against Cuba," said this so-called bishop.
"This division and separation of people from people is scandalous to a Church which claims the ministry of reconciliation as its work in the world. The strongest supporters of the blockade in my government frequently make the claim that until Cuba changes its political structures, Americans and Cubans cannot even come to the same table and together explore avenues toward healing. Such thinking -- in which the responsibility for repentance, restoration and healing falls exclusively on one side of a disagreement -- is not the way of reconciliation laid out fours by the Scripture," Griswold said.
In addition, this guy is the senior American bishop of the Episcopal Church! Griswold also said that when he returns he would urge the Episcopal Church to work day and night against the embargo.
