Santa Claus? No, Virginia, not in Cuba

DESPITE HIS failing health, Fidel Castro took time to publicly respond to a letter from a little girl. The letter and response were published in Granma, Cuba's Communist Party newspaper.

Dear President, I am 8 years old. Some of my little friends say there is a Santa Claus. Papa says, "If you see it in the Communist Party paper Granma, it's so." Please tell me the truth, Presidente Fidel, is there a Santa Claus?
